Introducing the Nouveau Renaissance Collection

I am so thrilled to share with you a little info behind the newest collection of heirloom gowns photographed by Corbin Gurkin
Deep in the heart of Tuscany is the Villa di Geggiano. Its walls are decorated with hand-painted frescos, gorgeous windows, and antique furnishings from the 18th-century fill the rooms. It was this villa that inspired the latest collection "Nouveau Renaissance"
It took around 2 years to source the fabric that would pair with the interiors of Villa di Geggiano. Many hours of hand stitching embroidery and lace went into each piece. Each gown is named after some of my most beloved cities in Italy. This collection was very special and unique to create and I hope you enjoy it!

The Genoa gown is made using embroidered fabric. The gown features soft blues and silver metallic embroidery in a floral and feather pattern. The bodice has a crew neckline front and back with a fishtail train. Comes with a nude mesh Lycra lining.

The Siena party dress is made using imported Blue and Gold Metallic lace with gathered layers of nude and blush silk organza and French silk tulle petticoat. The bodice features a V plunge neckline with eyelash and is lined in a nude silk mesh.

The Carrara gown is made using exquisite hand beaded lace with sequins, beads and layers of silk taffeta organza, silk chiffon georgette and soft ivory tulle. This gown floats and drapes like you're dancing on a cloud.

The Venice drop veil is made using Blush silk tulle and adorned with hand sewn Gold Metallic Eyelash lace. This gorgeous veil drapes beautifully and flows like water with its long sweeping blusher. The entire veil is hand sewn. No sewing machine is used to attach the lace.

The Verona gown is made using floral embroidered lace, silk organza and French imported lace. The bodice features a V plunge and long sleeves with hand cut embroidered flowers and vines meticulously arranged and hand stitched on Chantilly French eyelash lace. The skirt is semi pleated with a layer of embroidered tulle and a layer of silk organza.

The Matera gown is made using embroidered Gold lace and Gold Italian Silk Taffeta Organza. The gown features a v neckline and a gathered waist leaving the front non gathered. The bodice comes lined in a nude mesh fabric. This gown can also be made without the Taffeta Organza lining and substituted for a nude mesh Lycra lining for a more transparent look.
